José Luque

Executive Chef at The Westin Palace, Madrid

José Luque has accumulated a wide experience of more than 20 years in the kitchen. Some of the most important companies he has worked for are Paradores, the Auditorium Hotel and NH Paseo del Prado. Also, at the hotel Intercontinental Madrid, he was entitled as sous chef for over 10 years.

Formed in the Cooking School of Aranjuez and Luis Irízar in the Basque Country, Luque coursed his internship in El Amparo and Aldaba restaurants and also abroad, in Wales.

Today, José Luque leads the kitchen team at The Westin Palace, Madrid as Executive Chef, where he has the opportunity to continue developing his talent. In his cuisine we can savor creative recipes based on the best seasonal products.
